The Iredell Composite Squadron is a unit within the North Carolina CAP Wing. The mission of CAP is: volunteers serving America's communities, saving lives, and shaping futures. The Iredell Composite Squadron, known as the SAR Devils, has helped our communities on multiple search and rescue missions, volunteered at a number of community events, and continuously trains our teens to be future leaders on multiple fronts.

We are a completely volunteer organization that works hard to ensure our cadets, typically ages 12 - 18, have the tools they need to succeed in their future endeavors. We train our cadets in Emergency Services to assist in hurricane preparedness and post-hurricane support, search and rescue, first aid, and flight mission support. We work with cadets to support those interested in becoming pilots, going into the medical profession, and even a path in the military. The core values that we teach to our cadets are: Integrity, Respect, Volunteerism, and Excellence in all you do.

On May 18th we are having an open house for teens to build a rocket, learn about aerospace opportunities, view the sky with our high-end telescopes, try out a compass course, check out our cessna, learn about cyber patriot, and find out all the many areas where they can grow their skills or test out their strengths.
