Ever wanted to chat with world renowned author Dan Brown about his life and writing, or ask how he develops his ideas into #1 best selling novels?

Now you can. And perhaps learn a little about how his extraordinary fame has affected his life in quiet New Hampshire. And how and why the son of a mathematics teacher and a church organist became a prolific novelist. And what his writing day is like.

You'll get to ask all your questions at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, in a free webinar sponsored by the Active Retirement Association. Advance sign up is required at Dan Brown Q&A or by emailing araseacoast@gmail.com for the registration link. Guests receive a confirmation email with information on how to attend.

Brown grew up in the dorms of Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH, where his father taught mathematics. Subsequently graduating from there and Amherst College, he returned to Phillips Exeter to teach English until he turned to full-time writing. He had started writing children's books when he was five and developed an interest in bringing science and religion together while in prep school. The result? The Da Vinci Code.

By 2005, TIME magazine named him one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. His seven adult novels were translated into at least 56 languages and sold over 200 million copies. Brown's latest novel, Origin, explores two of the fundamental questions of humankind: Where do we come from? Where are we going?

The Dan Brown presentation is part of the Seacoast Memorial Lecture Series supported by the Active Retirement Association Memorial Fund, which was established with a grant from the Robert E. Smith family in 2004 and further endowed by member donations.
