About the Great Bay Philharmonic Orchestra
Great Bay Philharmonic Orchestra (GBPO) is a regional, all-professional orchestra, comprised of the finest musicians from throughout New England and beyond. Some have toured throughout Europe and hold high-level degrees from leading universities in New England. The audience may compare them to the caliber of Portland Symphony, Rhode Island Symphony, or Boston Symphony. In fact, you may not be able to tell the difference between this orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. Now, with David Upham continuing in an expanded role as Music Director, GBPO is poised to take its place among the great orchestras of the Northeastern United States.
