Bayshore Greek Fest

OPA! Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church is proud to host their 43^rd Annual Bayshore Greek Fest! Once again being held on our church grounds in Holmdel, N.J., the Bayshore Greek Fest will be occurring from Thursday, June 8^th through Sunday, June 11^th - rain or shine!

Annual highlights include performances by traditionally dressed youth dancers of various ages, guided church tours, and an assortment of games and rides.  New this year to the Bayshore Greek Fest is live entertainment performing on Friday and Saturday, and the talents of Pegasus DJ on Sunday. Boasting an eclectic group of vendors with specialty jewelry, clothing, icons, and Greek delights, the Bayshore Greek Fest will be utilizing their indoor facility for seating, and new this year, cooking demonstrations. Also moving indoors, will be our world-class Taverna, with exciting new menu items like stuffed peppers and “loukaniko” (smoked Greek sausage). Back by popular demand, the Taverna will be serving succulent lamb shanks and our delectable flaky white fish platter.

Not to be missed are our vendors with items from Mati (Evil Eye) Jewelry to Art work and a specialty curated YiaYia’s Attic booth.  Brought back by popular demand, our Food demonstrations that will take place at the inside dining hall/Taverna and while you are walking around shopping, be sure to have a Greek inspired cocktail, like our Ouzotini or our daily special. Partake in a collection of traditional Greek pastries such as Baklava, Galaktobouriko (farina custard rolled in filo with syrup), and unique to the Bayshore Greek Fest, Ouzo Cake and Baklava Sundaes, all while enjoying a professionally frothed “Frappe” (Greek iced latte). Historically served to the victorious athletes at the Ancient Olympic Games, Loukoumades (honey puffs) will be provided this year on Thursday through Sunday. We welcome you to enjoy these treats on our Festival grounds and encourage you to keep the Greek “Kefi” (spirit) alive by taking a sampling home to share with family and friends!
