Tristate Players Audition

The Tri-State Players are proud to announce the casting call for our summer radio production of Treasure Island and Little Women! 

Auditions will be held May 11th and May 18th @2:00 at 300 Clove Road, Montague NJ. The audition will be a cold read. Scripts will be provided. The show is August 9,10 and 11th @7:00 with a matinee on the 11th @2:00. 

If you are unfamiliar with this style of production we present our dramas in the manner of a 1950s radio station performing before a live studio audience. We present both dramas, back to back to give our audience a solid two hour performance. To enhance visual aspects of our show, additional stagecraft (memorization, props & accessories) is employed.  Actors will generally dress as if they were professional voice actors from the 1950s. Every effort is made to give roles to all who audition. We are looking for those who are new to theater as well as veteran actors. Please note, casting a radio drama is far more flexible than casting traditional theater. We are always looking for new talent.
