152nd Annual Camp Meeting Week

Celebrating its 152ND season, Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) will host a cherished and anticipated tradition of every summer: The Annual Camp Meeting Week: Sunday, July 26th – Sunday, August 1st. Camp Meeting Week offers sun-up to sun-down opportunities for spiritual growth, birth and renewal at the beautiful Jersey Shore. This year's theme is "Renewed In Spirit" based on a verse from The Bible: "…and that you are to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth." Paul's Letter to the Ephesians 4:23-24 (NASB). When OGCMA was founded in 1869, the Camp Meeting Movement (camp grounds to which Christians came from miles around to hear a series of traveling ministers) was in full swing from coast to coast – especially in rural areas and around small towns that didn't have a formal church, resident minister, and the support of a spiritual community. Ocean Grove has blossomed since its humble beginnings and is now the longest-active site of its kind in the U.S.
