The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra's 2nd concert of their 84th season series continues Saturday, March 14th at 8:00 pm, at the Syriac Community Hall, 55 W. Midland Ave, Paramus, NJ, with guest artist Serin Park, violinist, one of the 2019 Young Artist Competition winners. She will perform the Violin Concerto No. 2 by Wieniawski. Ms. Park is already an accomplished musician winning many competitions and earning accolades from audiences and judges both here in the US and abroad. She has performed at many well-known concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Steinway Hall in NYC, University of Music Franz Liszt in Weimar Germany, and Centre des Arts at Geneva Switzerland to name a few. She is also the recipient of the President’s Award for Academic Excellence and an award from the US Senate for contribution to the Artistic Value. Serin currently studies with Catherine Cho in her sixth year at Juilliard Pre-College.
Maestro Cho will conduct the evening's repertoire which includes Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Dvorak’s Symphony #9 “From the New World”.
