Join us for the RCDCU 12th Annual Bike-a-Thon "Bike to fight Prostate Cancer"on Saturday September 21 2019 8:00AM to 3:00PM. Event begins and end at the Franklin Middle School, 415 Francis Street, Somerset, NJ. RAIN OR SHINE NO REFUNDS
This charity event is fun for the entire family. Join us and ride your way "To Fun and Fitness" , support a great cause and help fight prostate cancer. The bike-a-thon consist of 3 routes , 10, 30 and 50 miles. You will ride through parts of somerset including the picturesque Colonial Park, from the park continue riding along parts of the Delaware Raritan Canal into the historical towns of Hopewell and Kingston.
Can't ride 10, 30 or 50 miles there is a 3-mile walk/bike ride that takes place inpicturesque Colonial Park at 156 Mettlers Road, Somerset. Here you will walk or ride past the beautiful Spooky Brook Golf Course view parts of the historic Delaware and raritan Canal and the Millstone River.
There are 4 fully stocked rest stations, and all routes are monitored by cell phones, SAG Vehicles and members of the support team.
REGISTRATION starts at 8:00AM.
Registration fees per person -30 & 50 miles $45.00, 10 miles $35.00, 3 mile walk/ride $15.00 Registration fee includes: continental breakfast lunch, awards, a T-shirt, during lunch enjoy the sounds of a great DJ.
Register as a team (must be a minimum of 5 participants) and receive a FREE team photo.
Funds from the event will be donated to the RWJ University Hospital/Barnabas Health at Somerset to help defray the cost for the free screening and to the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey to support their "Holiday Gift Card program" for individuals and families battling cancer and facing financial difficulties.
