Nanette has co-facilitated on stage along with Robin DiAngelo, author of "White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism." Nanette's describes her work Moving BEYOND White Fragility as aimed at those who come from "nothing but an authentic place of desiring to do their part for a better world." She welcomes everyone to the conversation, with the goal of helping us to articulate our own questions and ideas: "Say it out loud, be real about it, and let's work from there." Also at the event, the "Nonviolence Begins with Me" award will be presented to John "Tubbs" Smith.
