This July, the Brooklyn based performance artist eddy kwon (she/they) will be performing two nights at The Green-Wood Cemetery. Each night will feature two distinct performances, on July 6th and 7th, respectively. The earlier shows will be solo performances and for the later shows kwon will be joined by another artist. On July 6 the later performance will be with interdisciplinary artist Isabel Crespo Pardo (they/them) and on July 7 kwon will be joined by artist and composer Holland Andrews (they/them). Kwon is an adventurous performer whose performances are transformative and explore mythology and ritual practices. kwon’s performances are a part of the Concerts in the Catacombs series curated by singer and songwriter Gelsey Bell.

The concert will be held in the Catacombs of the cemetery which are usually closed to the public, but are at times open for art and public programming. Tickets can be bought online for $40, or $35 for members. The event will take place at the Green-Wood Cemetery, and a trolley will take guests from the main entrance to the Catacombs. Please wear a face covering on the trolley and at all times inside the Catacombs, and if you are feeling sick you are encouraged to stay home, and your ticket will be credited so that you can visit at a later date.
