Canastota Italian Heritage Committee will be hosting an Italian-American Festival on Canal Street in the Village of Canastota.

Live local entertainment, Italian and American food booths, historical displays, produce sales, local artisan booths offering custom merchandise, games and beer and wine available.

The festival will kick off next to the historic Erie Canal at 11:00 am and run until 7:00 pm.

This 1-day event features two local bands: MillerTime Entertainment will take the stage at 12 p.m. and Kruzin' Oldies will play at 3:30.

Bring your lawn chairs and join us under our big tent for morning Mass at 11:00 am, followed by a full day of live entertainment.

Enjoy lunch and dinner at any (or all) of the food vendors. Wine and Beer are available mid-street at the 1854 Tavern.

Please don't forget to stop in at the Erie Canal Museum and learn about Canastota's rich history on the Erie Canal.

The festival is free to the public and is a rain or shine event. Find us on Facebook@canastotaitalians
