Queens Theatre Al Fresco at Corona Plaza

Queens Theatre kicks off its annual summer concert series, taking place over eight consecutive Sundays, featuring FREE performances at Corona Plaza. Corona Plaza is located on Roosevelt Avenue between National Street and 104th Street in Corona, Queens. Music, dance, and entertainment for the whole family!

July 24: LORENZ DANCE STUDIO

This show consists of great New York dancers moving to many of the tropical rhythms (Salsa, Bachata, Merengue) from the Caribbean, and South America.

July 31: LOS COLORES DE FRIDA

Teatro SEA is back with a bilingual, one woman show about the great Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, which combines storytelling, music, visual arts, puppets, and audience participation. Recommended for children 5-10 years old.

August 7: KARLOS FRANJO

Singer Karlos Franjo will do a homage to some of the great Latin American singers such as Jose Jose, Camilo Sesto, and Juan Gabriel to name a few. He will be accompany by great NYC musicians.

August 14: LA JARA BAND

These great musicians and officers of the law, come directly from the NYPD bringing memorable salsa classics in full uniform. They engage with the audiences in all the city communities through song and dance.

August 21: MARIANO CERSA

He is a singer whose name is well known and welcomed in the Tri-state area’s Latin community. His repertoire ranges from Sinatra songs to beautiful Ranchera songs. Cersa is a great singer and has been awarded with certificates of a recognition for his labor as a singer from the White House to Albany, to City Hall and many more.

August 28: ATTAKKU

This summer fest closes with some good rock music to rock in Español with 9 musicians sharing the stage as they cover music by The Police, Seal, Eagles, Enanitos Verdes, Maná, La Ley and many more.
