Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI), the leading service provider for children and adults with autism on Long Island, will be hosting its annual Walk in the Park & Family Picnic Fundraiser at the Holtsville Ecology Site on Sunday, September 15, 2019, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Registration begins at 10:00 AM.
This event will feature activities for the entire family, including a barbecue lunch, face painting, music, games, a petting zoo, and more.
The fun-filled day will celebrate and recognize the thousands of families served by DDI who have demonstrated unwavering courage and dedication to making the lives of their loved ones full of purpose and achievement.
DDI is able to provide support to families and their loved ones with the invaluable service of its employees. While all of the employees have diverse roles, each one is driven by the collective purpose to help children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities experience personal growth and fulfillment.
All proceeds of this event will support DDI’s employee service and retention initiatives for the more than 1,900 team members that DDI employs across Long Island.
