To mark the 1st anniversary of lockdown in the UK, over 40 young people collaborated online, to produce this uniquely crowed-filed short documentary. The film reveals their concerns about the effect of restrictions on young people's lives. Using webcams and mobiles, their tales weave a compelling case. Young people have been labelled uncaring, ignorant, super spreaders, their education degraded and job prospects severely curtailed. Breaking the silence, Spreaders raises serious questions, has lockdown done more harm than good? Was it necessary to wreck one of the best years in young people's lives?
