Eric Alexander is the Director of Vision Long Island, a regional Smart Growth planning organization. Eric has nearly twenty years experience in housing, transportation, community development and coordinating successful community projects. Specifically, Eric has been a proponent of Smart Growth planning and mixed use development through advocacy efforts on Federal, State, County levels while working with municipalities to develop and implement smart growth policies, regulations, and projects. All told his efforts at Vision Long Island have resulted in acting as a catalyst for over 55 private and 60 public Smart Growth projects.
Anthony Bartone, Managing Partner of Terwilliger and Bartone Properties, began his career in 1993 at a Long Island based general contracting firm where he started as apprentice carpenter; progressed to carpenter; followed by project manager; and finally, vice president. During his tenure as vice president the firm saw production double and profits swell to the highest level on a percentage basis that the company experienced in its 30 years. In 2002 Anthony left the contracting firm to form his real estate development and construction management parent firm, Bartone Holdings, the predecessor company to Bartone Properties. In 2015 Bartone Properties entered into a strategic partnership with real estate development icon J. Ronald Terwilliger and Frances Terwilliger to form Terwilliger and Bartone Properties focusing on luxury class 'A' multi-family development in the Long Island sub-market.
Ralph Ekstrand is celebrating his 27th year as Supervising Pharmacist and Principal of Moby Drugs in Farmingdale. The company, established in 1935, is comprised of a full service retail pharmacy as well as a long-term care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to agencies and nursing facilities. Ralph is a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association, the Long Island Pharmaceutical Society, the National Association of Community Pharmacies and the Pharmaceutical Society of the State of New York. He is a graduate of St. John's University with a B.S. degree in Pharmacy.
Dennis Grossman is President and CEO of DMI Business Consulting Group (Since 1981), executive management and business turnaround specialists. He successfully restructured diverse corporations and businesses, built several housing developments and commercial projects. He is Founder and Chief Executive Precious Metals Processing, Mining and Trading Company, Citicorp Executive for Automation Research and Planning, EDC NY Project leader to restructure social services and jobs programs for Dept. of Social Services (Economic Development Corp NYC) Specialties: Creative problem solving, New and Innovative approaches to a broad range of business and Government situations with proactive and highly positive people skills. NCCC–Executive Board member at Large. President Great Neck Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Great Neck Zoning Board of Appeals, Rotary Board member, Member Great Neck Business Circle.
Richard Kessel has dedicated his career to helping turn Nassau County into a region of opportunity and economic prosperity for all its businesses and residents. A lifelong resident of Nassau now living in Merrick, Mr. Kessel has promoted economic development and the creation of jobs serving in various positions under six New York State governors. Various positions include Executive Director of the New York State Consumer Protection Board, as well as Chairman and CEO of both the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) and the New York Power Authority (NYPA). Devoted to Nassau County, Mr. Kessel has served on the Board of Trustees for Nassau Community College for nearly 20 years. In 2018, Mr. Kessel was appointed chairman of the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) and the Nassau County Local Economic Assistance Corporation (LEAC) by Nassau County Executive Laura Curran -a position he still holds with great pride today.
