The paintings in this show were largely done outdoors, and all were done from direct observation of the subject. They were completed between March and November 2020 while in quarantine from the coronavirus.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Schroder (b. 1991) is a painter who lives and works near Albany, New York. He was awarded a full tuition to The Copper Union, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2014. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, and his work is in private collections around the country, as well as in the collection of the Albany Institute of Art.
