On Monday, July 22, The River Project will celebrate another year of connecting the people of New York and visitors from around the world to the marvels and mysteries of the Hudson River.
We invite you to join us for our 3rd Annual Summer Cruise. This event will be a celebration of our spectacular river, the city that it nourishes, and our extraordinary community of friends and neighbors. This event will be held aboard the Hornblower Hybrid and feature an auction, plated dinner and open bar. Of course, like every River Project activity, the cruise will feature the creatures of the Hudson River.
We will also honor three friends of the Harbor and River and supporters of the work of The River Project and its colleagues to protect, preserve and restore the wildness of our aquatic resources and promote our understanding and enjoyment of the Hudson River estuary and its inhabitants. This year's remarkable honorees are River Project founder and retiring executive director Cathy Drew, physical oceanographer and environmental educator Dr. Julie Pullen, and Deputy Manhattan Borough President Matthew Washington.
