Fini Dance Festival and Awards

Antonio Fini announces the 2022 Fini Dance Festival and Awards, a festive evening of performances by companies from Calabria, Turin, and Naples in Italy, and the New York area, August 31, 8 pm, at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 West 55 Street.   Tabata Caldironi, charming dancer and TV personality in Milan, will host an evening of dance and the presentation of awards to notable figures in the dance world.  Participating companies include Ballet Belvedere and Fini Dance Company, both from Calabria; Turin Tap Dance from Turin; a Hip-Hop Company from Naples; Dzul Dance from NYC, and the comedy drag company Ballet Etoelle-Grandiva.   Receiving awards are Louise Cantrell, whose Foundation gives scholarships to talented youngers; dancers Lloyd Knight and Bianca Delli Priscoll; and makeup artist Angela Valentina.
