Join us on Election Day, November 2, 2021, for a day of online professional development about the Museum’s new exhibition, Boris Lurie: Nothing To Do But To Try, a first-of-its-kind exhibition on the 20th-century artist and Holocaust survivor Boris Lurie. The program will feature lectures by two scholars, who will discuss Boris Lurie’s life and work and give historical context for the Holocaust in Eastern Europe, where Lurie lived until he was taken prisoner by the Nazis at age sixteen. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear testimony from a Holocaust survivor.
All three sessions will be conducted on Zoom and are open to active classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and school administrators.
Please note that you must register for each session individually. You will receive 1 CTLE hour for each session you attend. We encourage participants to join us for all three sessions.
