Two of the greatest Jewish voices of the past half-century appear on stage together for the first time in what promises to a significant public intellectual event. French philosopher, essayist, playwright, and filmmaker Bernard-Henri Lévy joins heroic former Soviet prisoner of conscience Natan Sharansky to address and debate the most urgent questions of our moment, starting with Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and ongoing U.S. engagement with Iran’s tottering dictatorship as it pursues a nuclear bomb. Lévy and Sharansky will offer their perspectives, then be joined by moderator David Samuels, the Literary Editor at Tablet.
General admission tickets are $75 with an optional additional donation to Ukrainian Winter Relief. $25 for seniors and students. Members receive $25 off general admission. All profit from the event goes toward Ukrainian Winter Relief.
Please contact Gabriel Sanders, Public Programs Producer, with ticketing questions or if you would like to make a donation above the ticket price options: gsanders@mjhnyc.org | 646.437.4306
