American Chamber Opera Company

The American Chamber Opera Company announces the premieres "Images of Her," an evening of two one act operas: Through/In by Douglas Anderson, libretto by Andrew Joffe, and Simonetta by Larry Lipkis, libretto by Robert Block.  Mezzo Nicole Salamon performs this one-woman tour-de-force about the differences between the persona we present to the world, and the world we hold inside ourselves.  Simonetta is inspired by artist Sandro Botticelli and his grief at the sudden death of his young model and muse Simonetta Vespucci.  Performed by Rachel Arky, Lianne Gennaco, Seth Gilman, and Steven Tompkins.
