Our New Mission: is to empower our guests by providing wellness education with access to affordable healthy food set in a socially engaging environment that built healthy lives.
Our new program starting is projected to start in September of 2021.
FEAST’s programs were created with an understanding that a healthy life has three main ingredients: whole foods, whole people, and whole communities. However, we live in a world where many people lack access to basic, healthy fresh affordable foods, and where many more feel isolated from one another. In order to address these issues, FEAST created an innovative approach to health and wellness with a 12-week curriculum that brings Food Education, Access, and Support, Together.
FEAST’s programs meet for two hours each week and include nutrition education, such as label reading and shopping skills, cooking demonstrations, and a "sharing circle" which offers participants a safe space to open up about the underlying and often emotional elements of eating. In addition to receiving support to navigate obstacles and celebrate successes, participants form deep bonds of friendship in the sharing circle.
Therefore, with your support our health, and wellness classes will be offered based on need.
