September is Alopecia Areata Awareness month! In celebration, the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge will be lit up in blue for the #LightitUpBlue4AlopeciaAreata campaign. One night only. Rain or shine.
Park in LOT E (near the Senior Center) at 240 W Main St, Tarrytown NY and walk west to the RiverWalk. Got a blue LED toy? Bring it along for photo-op fun.

Bald Girls Do Lunch is a national 501(c)3 non-profit headquartered in Briarcliff Manor, NY. BaldGirlsDoLunch.org works to end the shame and stigma of the alopecia areata skin diseases.
There is no cure. There are no FDA approved treatments for alopecia areata.
Bald Girls builds self-confidence and self-esteem through patient education, community, virtual meet-ups (during Covid), public education and research updates.
