We encourage you to get your tickets early as there are a limited number of tickets available for this intimate evening of comedy in the Akron Civic Theater's Knight Stage which is directly adjacent to the Akron Civic Theater.

Headliner Lou Santini
You may remember him from his 11 years as a radio broadcaster in Northeast Ohio, most notably, "Rock 107", WRQK, Canton, and "The Buzzard", WMMS, Cleveland. Lou Santini is a professional entertainer of 35+ years as a Radio Broadcaster, Comedian, TV and Live Event Host, Voice Actor, Writer, and Actor.

Lou's high-energy, biting, "tell it like it is" comedy had him winning the Detroit and San Diego Comedy Festivals, and was tapped as "Best of the Fest" at the 2015, 2016, and 2019 Burbank Comedy Festival—all three years he performed. A national comedy club headliner, he has also opened for the late Bob Saget, Paul Reiser, Nick DiPaulo, Wendy Liebman, Tom Rhodes, and the late Robert Schimmel, to name a few. His comedy album, "Let's Get Bloated" is on iTunes and Amazon and is heard on SiriusXm. His "DryBar Comedy Special" debuts in 2022.

His standup comedy, and acting has been seen multiple times on "Reelz Channel", "Pop TV", and "Frank TV". You can hear his voices on the video games, "Evolve" and "Mafia 3" as well as TV and radio and TV commercials nationwide.

He has also written four books: "Amateur Nation: The Decline of Common Sense, Manners, and Social Skills" (with his corresponding podcast approaching 200 episodes), "101 Weird Conversations with Mom", and, "ANOTHER 101 Weird Conversations with Mom", and "How to Go from Wedding Hell to Wedding Bells: Your Wedding Shouldn't Need a 'Survival Guide'"—all found on Amazon.

He was one of the writers and co-hosts of the hugely popular web series, "1TrackMind", and is the co-writer and co-executive producer of the movie, "30 Swipes Right" and the pop culture debate game show, "WhaddayaSay?", both currently being shopped for production.

Featured Performer Kevin Whelan
Began his stand-up comedy career in Pittsburgh, PA in 1997. In the intervening 22 years, he has gone on to be a nationally touring comedian, opening for the likes of Dave Chappelle, Kevin James, Jeff Dunham, Hannibal Buress, Maria Bamford, and Greg Giraldo, just to name a few.
Kevin's material comes from his life, the world in which we live, and strange hypothetical situations, that he'd like to see come to fruition. His act ranges from squeaky clean to R-rated club sets, depending on what the event calls for.
He is currently living in Northeast Ohio, doing essentially what everyone else is doing, staying alive now so he can die of something else...later. So go see him live before that happens!

Special Guest Nancy Abraham
A stand up comedian from Cleveland, Ohio. She's a single mom of 4 and a successful real estate agent whose style consists of real life stories with funny punchlines! It's been said Nancy is " short in stature, and big on laughs " with an abundance of energy that make this little lady unforgettable!

Emcee and Host Tom Cullison from WNIR Radio
The pride of Akron Tom Cullison is not only one of the premiere Emcees in NE Ohio but also an on air personality at WNIR Radio 101.1FM He is known for his golden hair and golden voice that is certain to kick the evening off with lots of laughs.
