The Singing Mural has long been a staple at the entrance to the West End. Painted on the side of the CET building, Greater Cincinnati's PBS Station, the mural features many familiar faces – from Grover to Fred Rogers to Mr. Redlegs and many more.
This weekend, CET is hosting a brand new event with the help of Brave Berlin called CET is ME. During this event, Brave Berlin will be lighting up the mural with a unique, one-weekend-only, image-mapping projection. The event – and accompanying Our Neighborhood Block Party – will be Friday, September 24, and Saturday, September 25, from 7pm to 11pm each night. Thanks to the event's sponsors, CET is ME is now FREE and tickets are not required. Donations will be graciously accepted.
The mural celebration and block party will be hosted outside on the surface parking lot behind the CET Building at 1223 Central Parkway. In addition to the show, there will be live music from Soul Pocket Band (Friday) and Elementz (Saturday), wine, beer, food trucks, PBS Characters and other activities.
