The Wolfe Gallery at Maumee Valley Country Day School is featuring Retrospective an exhibition of watercolor paintings by Maumee Valley alumnus Richard H. Eyster ‘68. The exhibition will run through October 18 – December 20, 2019, weekdays 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. A reception, free and open to the public, will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019, 3:00-5:00 p.m., (The artist will be available 11:30 AM -12:30 PM) in the Wolfe Gallery, on the campus of Maumee Valley Country Day School, 1715 S. Reynolds Rd, Toledo, Oh, 43614. Richard’s artwork represents a deep appreciation of the natural world. Whether celebrating the lush ripeness of summer berries or conveying the moody decay of a forest floor in autumn, the work is built upon a deep and evocative power. He has had solo gallery shows in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Maine -- and has shown at the National Arts Center, the Salmagundi Club, and the National Academy of Design, all in New York City.
