Home for the Holidays Christmas Lights Contest

Dig out those Christmas lights from the attic and get creative with the "Home for the Holidays" lights contest! Homes in Erie, Crawford and Warren Counties can register now to be eligible to win cash prizes, and businesses can win advertising promotion packages with WICU/WSEE and Happi 97. Winners will be decided by online voting held Dec. 12 - Jan. 2.

A drive-through contest kick-off party will launch the online voting on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Greengarden Place Plaza at West 8th and Greengarden Avenue. All participants can have a curbside visit with Santa and get early access to an interactive map of all participating homes and businesses. For a minimum USD 5 donation, receive a goodie bag with "Light It Up," the exclusive popcorn flavor created for the event by Pop Luck, as well as other giveaways and coupons to area businesses.

Private homes can register now online with a donation of USD 25, and a USD 50 donation will enter a business in the contest.

All proceeds will benefit Barber National Institute programs that serve children and adults with intellectual disabilities, autism or behavioral health challenges.
