Airing of the Quilts-Palmerton

The Airing of the Quilts-Palmerton is Saturday, May 11, rain or shine, from 9 AM to 5:PM throughout Palmerton and at the high school. Quilts will be displayed in storefronts and outside throughout town. One of our churches will display antique and vintage quilts and another church will display our featured quilter and a talented hand quilter. Quilts will be for sale in the Library. Our park will be decorated to enjoy while listening to music, and enjoying food and a fabric weaving demonstration. There will be an activity for kids. A quilt block scavenger hunt hosted by our shop owners will have prizes chosen from all entries. Our restaurants will be prepared to provide a variety of tasty food. A quilt show with vendors will be held at the high school gym and featured speakers will be offered in the high school auditorium. We encourage people to park at the high school and take the free transportation to town.
