This year, in recognition of the Juneteenth holiday, the Nashville Jazz Workshop will partner with The Curb Center to host a live community art exhibit. To highlight the significant role art plays in the community, this exhibit will capitalize on all forms of art and feature well-known artists such as Omari Baker, Betty Turney-Turner and Brassville. Omari Baker is a visual artist based in Los Angeles, CA and Nashville, TN, who specializes in oil paintings. Betty Turner is the owner of This Little Light Creative Glass Art and Gallery, a company that specializes in stained glass. Lastly, this Juneteenth art celebration will feature Brassville, a unique, eight-person music city brass band.
