Lone Star Gourd Festival - Sponsored by Texas Gourd Society

The Lone Star Gourd Festival brings artists and crafters from across the U.S. together for our annual Gourd Festival in Fredericksburg, Texas at Gillespie County Fairgrounds.  You will be amazed at how these Gourd artists and crafters have transformed gourds into incredible fine art and crafts. They are carved, wood burned, woven, polished, dyed, painted and inlaid as if they were wood. Visitors can shop the many artists booth and may also tour the gourd art competition area and participate in voting for the People's Choice award.

This is a family friendly event so make sure you stop at our "Imagination Station" area where children and adults can try their hand at creating their own gourd art. 

Admission is $5.00 per person / children 12 and under are free.
