In this inspiring workshop, you can immerse yourself in the serene art of creating your own Buddhist Mala. Join us for a hands-on experience where you will learn how to make a Mala (traditional Buddhist prayer beads). Guided by experienced instructors, you will explore the significance and symbolism behind the Mala beads and the materials used. You will craft your very own Mala through step-by-step instructions. You can select beads that resonate with you. Discover the beauty of creating and using a Mala, and leave with a meaningful keepsake to support your meditation practice and spiritual growth.
This workshop is open to all levels of experience, and no prior knowledge of Buddhism is required. All materials will be provided.
The $25 cost includes the material fee. You can keep the mala you make.
If you have any questions please email: info@meditationinhouston.org
Free parking is available in the lot behind the Center and on the surrounding neighborhood streets.
We are a non-profit organization. We have class fees to cover expenses such as rent for a commercial space. The payments for each class allow us to fulfill our mission. Still, we try to keep these fees to a minimum to allow everyone to participate and never turn anyone away if they cannot afford it.
