Texas Fleece and Fiber Festival

Bring the kids! Texas Fleece and Fiber Festival is a family friendly free event. Meet the animals, their owners and trainers, shearers, herders and more! Sign up for classes to learn how to create beautiful items made with the fiber from these wonderful critters, sheep, alpacas, llamas, bunnies and goats. Learn the art of dying, felting, knitting, weaving. And while you're there, be sure to bring a healthy appetite and enjoy BBQ, Sandwiches, Pies and more! Plan to attend the Live Fashion Show in the Ballroom sponsored by Make it With Wool, and swing by the animal barn to get a closer look at the angora goats during the TAGRA Jack-Pot Show and Sale. A herding dog demonstration will also be held in the animal barn. Meet the artists, photographers, painters and writers. There will be treats for the kids at participating vendor booths, and door prizes throughout the event.
