Utah LP 50th Anniversary Party with Adam Kokesh

The Utah Libertarian Party invites you to join in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the party's founding!

The national Libertarian Party was founded on December 11, 1971, in the living room of David Nolan in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Most Libertarians know that. What not all know, however, is that one of the founders in David's living room was Karl Bray, who would become the first Chair of the Utah Libertarian Party - but who was at that time the leader of the Utah Libertarian Alliance, which was already promoting Libertarian policy even before the party came into existence!

So we in Utah are celebrating a week early, to remember and honor our place at the very beginning of LP history!

Our guest speaker for the evening is Adam Kokesh, host of the hugely popular Adam vs. The Man, his podcast found on odysee.com, Twitch, sometimes on YouTube (when he's not censored), and other platforms. His book Freedom - which he began writing while jailed for a peaceful protest - is a classic of human liberation. (It would be one of the biggest bestsellers of the past decade, except it's available for FREE!) Adam is a Marine veteran who served in Iraq at Fallujah, an antiwar activist, a 2nd Amendment advocate, and a true champion for a society based on voluntary cooperation. And he will be happy to tell you about the time he was body-slammed into the marble floor of the Jefferson Memorial - by National Park Service police - for dancing without a permit.

We have a lovely room reserved at the Desert Star Event center in Murray, where the evening will include a fabulous holiday buffet dinner including turkey, roast pork, four cheese macaroni. salads, sides and dessert. Punch is included, and there will be a cash bar for DABC regulated beverages.

Tickets are $70, or $130 for a couples ticket. Buy a table for eight for $500! Seating at the head table with Adam Kokesh - limited to six seats - are $150 each.
