Jazz @ Met

Back for its second installment, celebrate the warm weather with Jazz @ Met hosted by the National Landing BID at the premier Metropolitan Park. Presented in partnership with the DC Jazz Festival and Amazon, the outdoor music series will feature traditional jazz and fusion artists from across the DMV region.

Jazz @ Met will be complemented by programming and activities from MoCA, the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own blanket and visit nearby eateries to grab a bite to eat for a picnic on the green.

Kicking off in May, the series will run through June. The lineup of artists is below:
May 9: Jo Go Project (Jazz/go-go fusion)
May 16: Samuel Prather & the G.O! 4tet (Jazz/soul/funk fusion)
May 23: Joe Brotherton Quartet (Afro-Latin New Orleans Jazz)
May 30: The Marshall Keys Group (Jazz fusion)
June 6: Alex Hamburger (Electric and acoustic)
June 13: Siné Qua Non (Neo-classical jazz fusion)
June 20: Akua Allrich & The Tribe (Pan-African)
