ORANGE YOU GLAD IT'S FALL!!?

For thirty years, Sinkland Farms has spent each fall welcoming families from near and far to enjoy the simple pleasures of rural life. Sinkland's annual Pumpkin Festival brings out the best of the farm during our traditional pumpkin harvest. Hop on a wagon to visit the patch where pumpkins, gourds and squash grow in all sizes, shapes, and colors. Pick your own "great" pumpkin, meet our farm dwelling friends, and enjoy fall festivities like nowhere else!

The festival opens September 24 and will be open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 31. It's a massive event! In addition to hayrides to a 10-acre pumpkin patch, you can also pick from 8 acres of sunflowers, make your way through a mind-boggling corn maze, and visit with Sinkland's farm animal's. We also feature horseback trail rides, pony rides, a huge kid's zone with a barrel train ride (new this year), giant slide, kids zip line and many games. Enjoy lots of entertainment and local live music while sipping beer and wine on the terrace. You can watch pig racing, try your luck at our famous Bad AXE Throw AND find your favorite foods from visiting food trucks. We have scores of artists and crafters visiting this fall hoping to entice you with their hand crafted goods. There is hand dipped ice cream and, of course, Sinkland's extra special kettle korn and many other treats. The Virginia Tech Hightie Tightie Band and Hokie Bird will be making special appearances as well as local acapella groups for added entertainment.

Sinkland Farms will host our first Fall Friday Night Concert Series with some of the best bands in the area. Our kick off Friday is September 24th with The VOICE's Gracia Harrison performing. On October Friday evenings, look forward to hearing: the WORX, Jared Stout Band, Appalachian Space Train, and Hoppy Vaughan and the Ministers of Soul. Gates open at 6 pm for our Friday Night Concert Series with bands playing from 7 pm to 10 pm. Food Trucks, beer and wine will be available.

We have something perfect for every age! We have been voted the Best Pumpkin Patch in Virginia, the Best Farm to Visit, and a VA Top 10 Epic Wedding Venue. Celebrate your family tradition at the Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival.

Besides hosting our annual pumpkin festival, we also host an annual summer sunflower festival, weddings, parties, reunions, dances, and corporate events. We are planning our first Christmas Festival this year during weekends in December.
