Minkus to Mingus! A Celebration of Dance from Classical to Jazz

June 10 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at George Mason University's Harris Theatre.

Join us for two world premieres with original choreography by Rock the ballet's Adrienne Canterna and Alchemy's ballet master Ramón Sánchez, celebrating the artistry of Roberta Flack and Charles Mingus.Also Featuring classical choreography arranged by Academy Director Marianna Rozanova. Included in the program will be a live jazz ensemble, and several award-winning dance pieces presented at the 2023 Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) competitions in Miami, Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the ALS Association.
