Goose Creek Players present: Sense & Sensibility

A stage adaptation of the Jane Austen story of the same name.  In the 1790s, the Dashwood sisters having grown up wealthy on a large estate in Sussex County, England are left with very little money after their father dies.  They and their mother find themselves in Devonshire County, England, pursued by different beaus.  While Elinor the eldest is very much about common "sense",  Marianne the next oldest is all about romantic "sensibility".  Their encounters help them both to grow, as we follow their life stories.
