Chowder On at the annual THE GREEN GIG™ Chowder Social! 

​Join in the fun and indulge in mouthwatering chowders at the Gig Harbor Vintage Aero Museum while enjoying the company of fellow chowder enthusiasts, educators, and community epicureans alike. 

Goers will enjoy a wide variety of local chef-prepared chowders with flairs from the West Coast to the East and beyond – including classics like clam, chicken, and salmon chowders to elevated corn, vegetarian, Thai chowders...and more. The TGG Chowder Social offers a heart and tummy-warming experience, replete with salad, grazing table, dessert dash, live music, and amazing live and silent auctions. 

​Over the past decade, THE GREEN GIG™ Locally Grown has brought together thousands – from farmers, fishers, harvesters, producers, bakers, roasters, brewers, and chefs to sponsors, donors, educators, families, and our greater community for one night in support of early childhood education, here in our community. 

​In 2024, we turn a new leaf – so to speak – on THE GREEN GIG, the community's premier food, fun, and fundraising event for nature-based early learning!
