Little Shop of Horrors, The Musical

Meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" after Audrey, his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R and B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Seymour as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination. Eventually, as the plant's thirst for blood spins out of control, Seymour comes up with the natural solution with a plan to defend Audrey from her abusive boyfriend, evil dentist Orvin Scrivello by feeding him to Audrey II. He is spared the ghastly deed, however, when the nitrous-addicted dentist laughs himself to death on his own anesthetic gas. Little Shop of Horrors, The Musical includes favorite numbers such as its title song, "Somewhere That's Green," and "Suddenly, Seymour."
