This quarterly book club will introduce books that help educate the community about social justice issues which will keep the YWCA's mission of "eliminating racism and empowering women" top of mind.
Join us as we read "The First Winter" by the United ReSisters of Green Bay, a collection of their trailblazing stories, reflections, conversations, letters, lists, and poems about their experiences as refugees and journeys to the United States.
This virtual book club will take place on the third Thursday of every month beginning on January 21st from 6:30-7:30pm.
This book club is virtual and free to the public. To register visit: https://www.ywcagreenbay.org/what-were-doing/eliminating-racism-empowering-women/womens-empowerment-center/ywomen-read-book-club/
