During this time of uncertainty, the beauty of art can bring much needed joy. We invite you to experience a day in the country away from crowds, meet artists, learn of their creative process and perhaps purchase an original piece of art to take home. Artists invite you to custom plan your own tour itinerary. The visitors can opt for a rural drive between locations encompassing farm fields, pumpkin patches, Lake Michigan shoreline, picturesque small towns and even an historic wooden covered bridge, or there is easy access between most of the spaces via expressways. The studio spaces are as unique and varied as the art. A remodeled chicken coop, a spare bedroom in a suburban ranch home, an industrial garage, a restored 19th century barn or stone house, a 1850‘s stone woolen mill, a walk-out basement, or a tent are all creative spaces where sculpture, jewelry, photography, pottery, blacksmithing, weaving, stain glass, encaustics, collage, prints, paintings in all mediums and styles, and fiber arts are brought to life. This is your chance to purchase a unique piece of art directly from the artist along with its “ story of creation”.
