Eldr+Rime, 2300 North Mayfair Rd., is thrilled to partner with 1840 Brewing Company to host a monthly Beer Pairing Dinner Series beginning in November through March. Kicking off November 11, the Winter Dinner Series will feature four microbrews paired with three inventive courses thoughtfully curated by Executive Chef Gary Baca. At each dinner, Chef Baca and 1840 Brewing Company Owner and Brewmaster Kyle Vetter will discuss pairing decisions and share the story of each beer between courses. Tickets are $95 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity.
The three-course meal will feature dishes inspired by New American cuisine with nods to the holiday and winter season. The seasonal dishes, utilizing fresh and local ingredients, will be pleasantly paired with 1840 Brewing Company’s hand-crafted brews ranging from light, fruity, hoppy, dark, and sour to provide a full balance of flavor profiles. The local urban farmhouse brewery, focused on barrel aging and blending, will introduce four specialty beers each month for this dinner series. The dinner menus will be created by Chef Baca monthly once the specialty brew selections are identified and will include a soup or salad, an entrée and a dessert. Some dishes will incorporate the featured brews, such as the “Sea Turtle Imperial Stout” dessert, meant to round out the overall experience. Additionally, all guests will be presented with branded beer glasses to take home as a souvenir.
The dinner series will take place on the second Thursday of the month with upcoming dates as follows. Times will be listed on the website. For regular updates, guests can follow along on Instagram and Facebook.
